How do you use the mp3

Can anyone help me to download songs to my phone I don't know how to download the songs to the memory card? I also need help setting my songs as ringtones is that possible?

It actually comes with a sd card reader, which is really cool, but the phone takes forever to access mp3s, i was dissapointed.
