HTC 2125 / 2100 (Faraday)

I have been attempting to get media player working for weeks now. I installed a 2GB memory card and attempted to Active Sync my music over with Media Player 11. I get frequent lockups when I do this. the Sync process stops and the phone appears to be either locked up or very sluggish, requiring battery removal to correct. Tried pre-loading my music on the card and then installing. media player initially works and then the phone appears to lockup again. Anybody have this issue and correct it?
