Man do I love my new 2125!
All the research ahead of time helped me find the perfect phone for me.
Great phone. Great email. Great internet. Works as dial up modem with my laptop.

The only bad part is I'm now in the smartphone world for the first time and even though I'm pretty technical I feel out of touch with some basic stuff like ring tones and games. Can someone give me a link to somewhere that can explain this stuff at the beginner level (and if possible something specific to the 2125).

I'm finding games on the net with different file types (zip, cab, etc). Some work, some don't. Some only fill in 1/4 of my screen. Downloaded a ringer which was a .wav file, can't seem to make it a ring tone. That kind of beginner help.

Thos games were programmed for a QCIF display (176x220). I was in the same boat you are, but instead of trying to find games, i download an NES emulator PocketNester to play Ninendo games. Not all the game splay well on the phone since you can only move up,down, left, right but most do. The only smartphone game i have is tennis addict and it is at qcif. I also loaded TCPMP and convert a lot of movies/shows into good small AVI's (i do avi cause i have a portable dvd player which plays them as well). TCPMP is a muct have.

On the ringtone did you put in the application data/sounds folder?
