I've been waiting to check this one out. Cool it has bluetooth and EDGE but too bad it has no camera. Oh well, I'll take it! 😁

I think it has something to do with PTT. If you notice, almost all of the PTT phones that are out have a lot of good features, but lack a camera...who knows??

Business customers want ptt (for the most part) most companies don't want to give employees cameras to play with at work.

I don't need a camera and will get this phone as soon as it hits the shelves... bluetooth, edge and mp3 ringtones... nice from factor as well...

I've been waiting to at least get a pic of this phones for sooooo long. Now that I have it looks like a X497 with a super charger. This feels like a little bit of a let down for me but the proof is in the pudding I guess...

Not 100% sure but we were told that bluetooth will NOT work for PTT. Haven't had a chance to try it b/c the only ptt phone i've played with is the lg f7200.

Are you sure that that this one will do PTT through headset?

The weird thing is, though, that if you look at the success of Nextel, you will see more and more consumers using PTT as a cheaper way of communication. I know business' mainly use it, but I'm sure that the ratio has become a lot smaller in the past year when it comes to business or consumer.

I think it will take off with cingular because of the Price point of the phone and the fact that it will be pushed on Family Talk lines. Once a lot of FT customers get onboard, Cingular can start advertising it as "join our 5 Million PTT customers".

Give it a couple of years. Right now there are only 2 PTT phones available for cingular

Ok saw the phone in action at 150 Fulton Street in NYC.

Pros
1. Phone look sweet, small (smaller then anything nextel has), stylish, and fast
2. Push to Talk was extremely fast (nothing like the delay on Verizon)
3. Push to Talk can be used over Bluetooth
4. The phone has bluetooth
5. Bluetooth was very clear
6. The phone has edge

Cons
1. No camera
2. Outdated O/S (Samsung I know it works, but please step into the 21st Century, but it's good none the less).
3. PTT is not as clear as nextel, but seems to be just as fast (I think they will fix it soon).

Definitely getting two one for mom and one for step dad, I think I will get the Nokia 6682 which also has PTT.
