LG Migo VX-1000

Although I agree with many of the statements on this forum regarding the look of this phone and lack of functionality, I must confess that I am considering buying this phone for my 8 year old daughter. I love that there are only 4 phone numbers in the book and an emergency number as well.

I have an 8 yr old and a 12 yr old daughter and I have found out the hard way that trusting teenagers with a phone is not the easiest thing to do.

She has a large phone book (almost as large as mine) and has even taken to using her cell phone when she is home even thought the house phone is feet from her. She ahs become better with the phone after much reinforcing of rules.

My eight year old has been bugging me for a phone for some time now and I have been leary given the exepriences I havce had with the 12 yr old but with this phone I will probably get one for her.

Just some input from a parent.
