1 GB card

Anyone know for sure if a 1GB card will work with this? I suppose it's a little too late to worry about it because I ordered one but I was hoping that someone might know for sure. The people at the sprint store sid it would take whatever you put in but I know with computers you can hook up a 200 GB hard drive to a motherboard that only supports 100 GB max. Any input is greatly appreciated.

It should work because I have a friend who has the same phone that's on Verizon and he has a 1G card in it.

It does work. Thanks though. Money well spent instead of money well wasted.

Thats good to know that a 1gb works although according to the manual the highest you can go is a 512mb. Its too bad as I just ordered a 512mb and would have preferred the 1gb.

On page 122 of the manual in the section "Using the TransFLASH card" there is a caution note that says to only use recommended memory cards between 8mb - 512mb total or there could be data loss and phone damage. Also on Samsung's site it says to not go over 512mb.

If yours is working I wouldn't worry about it as I had a Nokia 3650 that said not to go over 128mb and I used a 512mb card in it for years with only a few problems but nothing serious (couple of lockups, lost notes, etc.) 🙄

I haven't had a problem with it yet. It shows up as 996 MB which is all bogged down with music. PANTERA KICKS A$$!! I emailed samsung about it and they said they never did any tests with anything over 512. I didn't care and chenced it anyways and luckily I didn't waste any money.

By the way that first post looks like a hair lip wrote it. You CAN'T hook up a 200 gig hard drive to a mobo that only supports 100 gig. My bad and now my correction
