Missed Alerts - How do you turn this feature OFF?

The "Missed Alerts" feature is driving me nuts. why can't I just use the "Call History" feature and turn off the "Missed Alerts"? The problem with this feature is when you call back a missed alert it deletes it from the alert list. If you want to call it again, you have to go to the Call History. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Select the Menu/Ok button, goto Settings, then select Launch Pad and in there you can replace the Missed Alerts with another shortcut.

Thanks for your effort, however, that does not turn off the "missed alerts" feature. The Launch Pad only controls the Up,Down,Left,Right keys. Does anybody else have any ideas?

If you haven't already figured it out, to get the Missed alerts feature to stop popping up on your phone go to Menu, select messages, from there go to settings, select general, then go to notification. Select notification and click on icon only. Now whenever you get a missed call, VM or txt msg, you'll only see the icon notification on the top of the phone.

Your welcome.
