To make this plan and simple and not "rant", I want to ask you all of your opinion...

I am with Verizon right now and I have a LG VX-8100 VCAST phone. I am coming to Sprint and I am looking at THIS phone (obviously the A920) and it is basically the same phone I have now, just with another provider.

I don't want to "downgrade" my phone from VZW cause I love it, but is this phone enough? What are the pros and cons? Should I get this phone? Is there ANYTHING better than this one at Sprint?

I would have steered you to the MM-A940 but it's discontinued. You might be able to buy one on E-bay or something.
However This one has virtually ALL of the same features as the a940 except the 2 megapixel camera and the neat swivel design.
I have had the 1920 for about a month and am pleased with the quality of both the phone and the Sprint support of it's features such as live newscasts with brilliant video.
It's actually quite amazing to me that tech has come this far where I can watch the news live on my lunch hour with almost no buffer underuns and decent battery life considering.
I recommend it heartily

Working at sprint leaves me a little biased towards selling the product (since it makes me money) but i don't make more on any certain phone (and neither do other store reps) so I try to sell the phone that is right for the customer. The a940 was a limited production due to it's high-end features (remember the a800?) and can still be found if you look hard enough.
However from the 8100 to this (a920) you are getting a phone that is slightly smaller, lighter, and the same screen and battery life.
With the sprint phone, you have access to more content since sprint and turner and comcast, and a few other cable companies have a mutual agreement to content.
The 940 will give you the better resolution camera (i've heard and personally seen t...

I left a review about this phone and the verizon twin of this phone. The a950 from verizon and a920 from sprint on paper are the same phone but I was playing with my friends a950 in my left hand with my a920 in my right. This phone is SOOOO much better than the a950. Get it. You'll love it. My only drawback was the looks and that's grown on me. That and the lack of access to the MP3 player from the external buttons but it's only a flip of the thumb away. I have it customized to launch the media player from the launch pad so it only takes a couple seconds to get into that so that being the only complaints I would think you should be very pleased with this phone.
