T-Mobile has really increased their selection of phones. I was just at their store recently. I really like that new slider phone that they have. I left T-Mobile to come to Cingular because I wasn't getting good coverage when I travelled up and down the coast, but I see that their coverage has gotten better in some of those areas. As a matter of fact, they just put up 67 new towers where I live. Amazing!!! When I had T-Mobile previously, all of the phones that I had with them were already unlocked. Yes, there are tons of unlocked phones available for their service unlike Cingular service because we need that 850 MHz band on it and there's not a lot of phones with that. On top of that, there voice and data plans are lot cheaper than Cingular's anyday. I buy too many phones myself so don't feel bad. I think that I'll wait until after the holidays before making another phone purchase though.
Check out their personal coverage check, where you can put in specific street addresses to see how the coverage is in specific areas.
