I spoke to the people at HTC and apparently there is a newer version of the OS or at least that is what they said. The issue is it is not working at this point and is causing crashes, my question is; has anyone heard anything new other than it should be fixed in a month?

Have you checked their site for the newest firmware? I would check that out first.
