Anyone know if the version of Active Sync that is shipped with the MDA supports being used on a Windows 98 machine?
I know that the last version of Active Sync to support 98 was Active Sync 3.7 and the latest version to be released is 4.2.

Has anyone purchased this phone and used the Active Sync version that has come with it on a 98 machine? If so, how is it working?
Please let me know as my Father inlaw is looking to purchase this phone but is not ready to purchase a new machine.
