can you record voice conversations?

I'm thinking you *should* be able to since it is Pocket PC OS. I can record on my Dell Axim pda through the Notes program. But the Axim is not a phone and I need to record conversations to transcribe later. Radio Shack has some gizmos that record from a cell phone but I'm looking for a good excuse to buy this phone. Anyone try this? Thanks.

Guess what? With Skype, my pda is a phone. Hello. I would still like to know if the MDA can record calls "natively."

Don't think so. This is a pretty hairy issue because it involves possible invasions of privacy and matters of recording someone over the phone without their consent.

ACTUALLY YOU CAN RECORD VOICE CONVERSATIONS. WHEN YOU ARE HAVING A CONVERSATION CLICK ON CALL STATUS AND THEN CLICK ON NOTE AND A BOX WILL OPEN TO WHERE YOU CAN RECORD OR TYPE INFORMATION..........
