start window programs
When you open and programs then close them even if you close them in the running programs area. When you go back to the start menu the program that you opened is there and it just keeps adding programs to it. Is there a way to disable this thank you

What you are describing is the Recently Used Applications list. I am not sure how you would turn that off in WM5 (or any PocketPC OS for that matter), but I am pretty sure it's a registry entry somewhere. I've just ignored it and programmed my important applications to the soft keys around the face of the device and just deal with it as such. I'll see if I can find something on the net about disabling that feature.
