Just wanted to let everyone know that this phone has officially released in our ordering system for over the phone sales. For everyone that ordered this device over the internet or Premier..congrats I suppose!

I work for Cingular Wireless and the latest information I have been given is that the 8125 is on backorder so we don't know when the devices will be avaliable in the stores.

After my first one was a lemon, I had to spend quite a while on the phone to get the issue resolved. Bottom line: Cingular uses 3 separate, distinct order channels: Phone, Web, and in-store. There are thousands of these phones in the warehouse, but you have to know which warehouse to order it from. If the store tells you it's on backorder, try ordering it on the phone or on the web. Just keep trying, they're out there somewhere!

Are any of your employees having the nightmare problems that Speqtre had? I have had the cash saved up for awhile to purchase this device but am having serious doubts after reading his posts over this device.
