The largest capacity mini-SD card is 2GB, but they're pretty expensive and mostly unavailable right now in the US. 1GB mini-SD cards will run you from ~$55-90.

There is no provision to equip this phone with an internal hard drive of any type. Since the phone uses a mini-USB port for comm and power, you may be able to use an external usb drive, but not certain if that's possible...

SO this phone could support the higest capacity of mini-sd card, either the gig or the 2gig? Just want to know since some phone set a limit on how big the memory card can be (aka like my s.e. s710)

I'm picking my phone up at Tmobile tomorrow morning! Just got online and found (and ordered) a 2GB miniSD flash card ("66x" speed) for $75 (after $25 mail-in rebate) from Tigerdirect.com.
Best deal I could find on 2GB and only marginally more than 1GB cards. Had to go for it!
Hope this helps!

Will you post the link to the 2gb card? I tried looking for it on TigerDirect.com's website and couldn't find it. Thanks!

Murphy's Law would dictate that as soon as I post the specific URL it would change and just annoy people.
But I just checked again this morning...
Go to tigerdirect.com then click on "flash memory" on the left column. The US Modular 2GB SD card should show up at the top as one of the two highlighted items. Regardless, you should be able to see at least three or four 2GB options in the SD column on that page.
Hope that helps!

Apologies... my excitement got the best of me.

oldpinepoint keenly noticed that what I ordered was, in fact, an SD card, NOT a miniSD card. (My eye started in the miniSD column and floated right by the "SD" heading.)

Very sorry to all for the false hype.

I have just called and canceled my order for the SD card.

Feel free to double-check(recommended, in fact), but I've found a 2GB miniSD (yes, MINI)
at newegg.com for just under $100.

Also a 1GB miniSD at newegg.com for just under $50.

Hope this helps. Sorry once again.

Outpost.com has a listing for a 2GB SanDisk MiniSD card. Item number is 4755019. If you have a Fry's in the area, they might have this in stock, but chances are slim. There are none at the Seattle area Fry's. The quantity listing also states "Call for availability" so it might be a bit of a wait.

As of 09:20 AM on Feb 20th 2006, the price of that card is $79.99 plus about $6-7 ground shipping. Tax is also included if you live in the following states: AZ, CA, CT, GA, OH, TX, NV, WA, IL, IN.

forgot about frys, looks like they have lowered their prices in the last 2 years. I live in a state w/o a frys so i usually use newegg.

As I said originally (after having spent alot of time researching it), 2gb cards are mostly unavailable.

Yes, you can get a no-name brand off ebay for 70% more than the Sandisk will cost once they arrive, and yes, you can pre-order one at Outpost or JRMusicworld, but AFAIK Sandisk is just getting these into the channel.

Get a gig now, get a 2gb later once they're everywhere and cheap.
