Motorola V540

I need to store multiple phone numbers under the same name. When I try to save to the SIM card, this option doesn't seem to be available even though the manual seems to imply that it is. When I save the entry with multiple numbers to the SIM card, I get multiple entries in the address book. I do not have the option to set a primary number and display only that number. Saving to the "phone" works but that does not allow you to save your address book on the sim in case you have to replace the phone.

Any thoughts??
