So, as you all may know... When you plug in this phone to charge it, the rave-ready lights start pulsating away on the sides of the phone. For someone that sleeps with thier phone on the nightstand next to them, this is totaly annoying. I contacted Motorola about this to try to find a way to shut them off (while charging). They said 'No', this is just the way the phone is. My wife is about to throw this thing accross the room at night. If you think the lights aren't bright, try it in pitch black... it blinks the whole room. I don't want to have to put a shirt over something i paid this much for. Anyway, just in case anyone else wondered about that, that was as far as i got.

Also wondered if there was a way to change the skins. When you pl...

ok, for skins, you will want to check out motomodders.net that will be your greatest resource in getting new skins for your new rokr. personally, i would recommend the iTiger skin since it is an iTunes phone i say why not go with a skin modeled after OS X Tiger.

What's up my main man pubius!!

I have the solution you so desperately desire...

I work for Motorola so I had this for a long time and still do..

Here's how to fix it..

The option is called Event Lights..

Go into Settings > Audio > And Event Lights and then just turn them off..

Your lights will no longer go off while charging..

See you man

Thanks! Great to know that someone at Motorola has the answer, I understand that this is a new phone, but thought that since it was the same as the e398, everyone would know how to deal with it already... maybe not in the US just yet. But this worked great and the light issues are all cleared up.

Hey internetadam, the problem is that I am on a mac, so the modding applications available through people like motomodders seem all pc driven. Looking to see if anyone out there found a mac solution to this. I guess I could always use a friends pc for this, but would rather not have to. So yeah, finding the skins is easy, putting them on gets tough. Thanks for all the help though.
