I currently have the s710a which was sent to me as a replacement for the samsung p777- generally a good phone but a bit to bulky to put in your pocket- can anyone comment on rOKR size and quality as compared to the s710a? thank you.

I love the s710. The only benefit the ROKR has is its storage and ability to hook up to an external stereo.

If you use your 710 for pictures, don't get the ROKR. The ROKR is thinner, but almost the same weight. the 710's LCD is crisper. Both have comparable sound quality, but the ROKR is just a tad better...but that's what it's made for.

I'd keep the 710....and perhaps wait for the Nokia 6682.

The downfall to the ROKR is even if you bump up the memory card, the phone will still only work with 100 songs. On the other hand, the S710 can be beefed up in memory and will handle what ever song load you can throw at it.

The S710a can only handle, a 128mb memory stick. Also they only currently go up to 512mb on trans flash memory.
