Over in dave's ipaq forum on mobility today...there is a section that mentions that the HP 6700 series might hit the US market sometime in Q2 2006. It is rumored to launch in Europe soon, but timing on a US launch is speculative at best.
If it hit the US, then Cingular might the carrier of choice, but considering that HP should have launched the 6500 series with WM5 nor did they allow for a upgrade path from WM 2003 to WM5, not sure if Cingular is ready to sign for HP again, in spite of the good reports so far on the HP 6510/6515.
I wish the unit was cheaper, considering that the software is on the verge of being outdated once more WM5 products hit the market...

Hmm iteresting I'm going to have to check that site out. But the Treo 700w is hitting the market Jsn. o6 and Cingular won't be able to get it until March 06 I would think that they would try to speed it up. I was told if you buy the 6500 series now HP will give you the new 6700 series when it comes out as a trade in.

But the Q should be out soon to. Which gives maybe might help Cingulars bleeding of clients to Verizon during their exclusive 1Qtr deal, but I think Q is going to be an over hyped like the Razor was. I guess we will have to just wake up one day and see that the 6700 is on the market.
