I cant speak for the signal or quality, but as for the video recorder. I think its gonna depend on how much memory you have used on the phone. I took one out of the box and went to video as it was new and it read 15 mins of video left. Then I took a high quality pic and went back to video, which this time read 13:53 mins left.

Hope that helped!

I have a 6265i and the reception is fine. Even in rural areas in Wisconsin it was fine. So in San Fransisco, I'm sure it will work fine.

As far as the video, it does depend on the memory available. I purchased a 2 gig SD card, and using the card, the phone said it could do a 2 hour clip. The quality is not great though. Maybe good as far as camera phones go, but still not too good. Pics are fantastic, though.

I live in san francisco and i have the 6265...its a great phone! and i never have problems with service except for the obvious spots in the city. The video length depends on the memory of the phone. 15 minutes maximum without the memory card.
