Motorola RAZR V3c

I just got the H700 headset, and linked it up with my V3C. The problem that I am having is that when I am not talking to anyone, the headset keeps disconnecting and immediately reconnecting with my phone. This is really annoying because each time it does that it maked that beeping sound, not to mention that each time the phone lights up so it is also draining the battery. I have Verizon Wireless, but I have the V3C with the original Moto UI. Would that have anything to do with it? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! 🤨
