I know everybody says the razr Is the best phone ever, that Is for Cingular not Verzon. Let me tell u all the cool things the v3c does. First the phones OS system has already crashed 5 times, the time doesnt update, the phone Is slow as heck, the phone dicides to freeze for no reason. There are so many problems with the v3c 2 list, stick 2 the LG or Samsung. Don't even bother waitng for the V3m, cause It's the same as the v3c but with a mp3 player. But If u want a slow phone with many problems then get the razr.

Oh I agree. I had my software updated to the .04 release and it still acts up. I find myself not looking forward to using the phone because there are so many quirks you have to look out for.

Anyone want to make me an offer?
Phone is 4 months old and in mint condition.

Otherwise, I'll sell it on E-Bay

I'm going to go for te LG 8300 as a replacement. Then I can use ALL of my old headsets etc. and have a phone that does not take 30 seconds to boot up...

Sorry you guys are having trouble, but don't tell people not to buy it based on your experience. Truth is most people like/love their v3c. I love mine, never freezes up and had 02-03-04 firmwares. it was slow when i first got it, but got better with time.

I don't keep 10000000 txt messages or pics. It just works for me, my girlfriend and everybody else i know. 🙂

Amen.........I've had my Razr V3c for about three months. Slow as heck to boot up, slow to react when doing anything except punching in numbers to dial a call, and of course, the too sensitive side buttons which change the ringer from vibrate to off with no notice. I switched over to my old Audiovox 9900 yesterday, and I love it. I wouldn't have a Razr if they paid me to use it.

The V3C is a cool phone if you have Motorola's user interface in it, not Verizon's. I got the V3C from Verizon and two weeks later I sold it because I hated it so much. I got an unlocked one with Moto's UI and I love the phone! The battery lasts three times longer, and I have a much stronger signal strength. Don't knock the V3C, knock Verizon for ruining it!! 🙂

thats cuz verizon's ruined the v3c with their ui.. take a look at a razr w/the real moto ui and you'll notice a huge difference

yes, you can 'flash' the moto UI on it, but I don't know how. However, there is a way to do it, and you can see it here:

I hope that helps!

I updated my RAZR V3C last Friday (6/2), stupidly. Since then here are my (latest) problems:

(1) External LCD is ORANGE, where-as before my wallpaper came through miniaturized
(2) Not all of my Speed Dials work; no method to the madness (I am referring to holding down 2, or 3, etc)
(3) When i receive a call the PHONE# displays instead of the contact name which is saved in my phonebook
(4) When i dial a call the PHONE# is displayed instead of the contact name which is saved in my phonebook
(5) The voicemail indicator does not appear if I receive VM when my phone is turned off or out of range (i.e. subway)

I know several people have posted these issues previously, but WHAT IS VZW doing to resolve this? I love my MOTO but am "less t...

Alright, I dunno why every1 keeps bashing on the razr. I know there were alot of problems with the phone, but if you dont like it, RETURN IT!!! you have 15 days to do whatever you want to the phone to decide whether you want it or not. I am honestly really picky with my phone, and it took me forever to choose a phone. I waited 6 months since my upgrade date, comparing phones and tryin them out. I bought and returned 8 DIFFERENT PHONES! verizoin hated me, but I researched and made sure I got a phone I liked with no problems. trust me I tried almost everything. And in the end, I stuck to the razr. It's a good phone, but just like everything else on the market, it has its problems.

First. The orange LCD sucks with the new update, I agree... ...
