Motorola RAZR V3c
Holster
I do remember one i first sytarted hearing about the V3c a few months ago, a member on here said that in January they were already have the clips being made and fitted... does anybody know if they are going to be the same as the cingular kind? I know i already posted this in the Verizon forum but i didnt really get an answer..thanks

I answered you. It won't be the same holster as the original Cingular V3. This phone is 1 millimeter thicker. And based on the style for the Cingular one, it does not have the tolerance built in for an extra millimeter.

The body isn't one mm thicker, the added mm is on the camera.

If that is the case, then it MAY work, but I stress MAY!!! It would all depend on where the holster clips on at the top of the phone.
But based on the dimensions listed, I would assume the whole phone is 1mm thicker. I could be wrong with that one though.

so even if not the cingular holster itself..but wud it be the same design...with the back of the phone facing outward?

I have seen both, and the one available directly through Cingular has the front facing outward. You would have to go through Motorola, or some accessory superstore to get the one that allows it to be flipped where the back faces out. Unless the Cingular one can be used either way, which I am not sure of because I don't use a holster for mine.

tru tru..well i compared them both and ur literally talkin about 1 mm..which isnt a lot..my friend has the razr ill try out his case wen i get mine..thanks for all the help

Well, I can tell you that 3mm made one hell of a lot of difference on the holster I had for the v710 when I switched to the E815. I had the holster from Radio Shack (which fit snugly to the back of the V710 with the standard battery) and it would not work with the e815 due to it being 3mm thicker. Wasn't even close.
