Motorola RAZR V3c
help me with bluetooth please!!
😡 😡 First, is the v3c bluetooth 1.1 or 1.2. I have had a horrible time finding a bluetooth headset that isn't always breaking up with this phone. I tried my neighbors v3c and it did the same thing. Both have .03 software. I have bought the h700, bluespoon ax2, and the jabra bt800. All of them have static even when on my belt and on the same side of my body. Someone help if possible.

I am not too sure if it is the phone or those headsets. You might want to head into a local store and check with the techs with BTs are best for the V3c.
However, the H700 may be a different story. Apparently, they have been know to have problems with CDMA handsets. I purchased an H700 about a week ago, and was told by others I'd talk with that they were hearing static. After some research, on the howardforums, model numbers listed as SYN1131A on the body of the headset are affected. Call Moto up and get it replaced (warranty covers up to a year). The V3c direct Moto customer service number is 1-800-657-8909. This matter with the CDMA handsets and H700 headset is recorded in Moto's notes. So if they give you a hard time about it, ...

Ok try the Motorola HS-850. I used it with my E815 and now with my Vc3. Works great...there is hardly any static.

Try the Motorola H500 or HS850. My brother uses the H500 and has no problems. I have used the HS850 and am now on my third H700 headset. The first two H700s were Motorola's A series and had known static problems. I'm using a B unit now and hear static sometimes when the phone is on the opposite side of whatever ear I'm wearing the headset. But this is heaps better than the first two. The comment I get from everyone regarding my H700 is that people hear me fine but I come across as if I was on a speakerphone.

Motorola does sell a splitter that you would plug into your Razr charger. One side has the mini USB, the otherside has the old prongs.

I have a V3C that I got from the V710 Lawsuit and since I have gotton it, I have had nonstop issues with the Bluetooth, going through 7 headsets of many different styles and manufacturers. Finally since none has worked as well as when i had the 710, i brought it to verizon, and they replaced the phone. The new one is the same or worse. The issue is even when the phone is less then 3 feet away, phone on hip in case and headset on ear on same side...static and totally losing signal...Now on replacement #2 in 1 week.
