I was wondering is it worth voiding your warranty by spray painting your Razr housing black? It looks something like this,

towards the middle of the page. I was also wondering if it was possible to have the motorola M on the external screen while the phone was flipped open. Like this,

scroll to the middle of the screen titled Another Year. This is what I want my phone to look like.

Thanks

If it were me, I definately wouldn't spray paint it! Warranty aside, it would probably look really cheap and chip off. As far as the "M"...not on Verizon's.

how about this..instead of painting your razr and voiding warranty, y doint you buy a cell skin.

its easier, costs less, and doesnt void warranty.

Not right now it doesn't look cheap but as soon as it starts chipping off it'll look cheap.

I saw some oem Moto kits to convert your razr to several different colors. They had the kits for black, blue, and pink for sure. Came with everything including new keypad, screen cover, hinge piece, etc. Or there were many Moto brand snap on covers for the battery and flip to make it black. I think the full kit for the conversion was $39 plus shipping. Not bad and probably more professional looking than paint.

They had these in Japan. You just walked up to a vending machine put in your Yen choose your phone model and the style, color, or pattern of stickers you wanted and the machine cut them in about three minutes.

It was pretty cool and you could change as often as you wanted since it wasn't cost prohibitive and didn't damage your phone.
