Battery Life

Hey Razr owners. I am curious as to how long your battery is lasting. I realize everyone uses the phone different amounts of time during the day, but I am curious as to what the average length of time is before the phone starts beeping with the low battery signal.

As you can imagine, I am still on the fence as to purchase one or not. I currently own a Samsung a670. Any other a670 owners switch over to the Razr and have any insight (good or bad)?

Thanks to everyone who replies!

My battery has been decent. I usually go about 2 days before having to charge it again.

I went from the extended v710 battery (which was awesome and would last 4-7 days in the begining) so Im not totally thrilled, but for such a slim phone/battery its good.

In my opinion the razr battery is equal if not better then the 670. Maybe my 670 battery was bad or something but my battery did not last long at all. I use my razr a lot throughout the day, calls, texting, and get it now and I have not had it beep low battery or get below 2 bars yet. Go for the razr...It's an AWESOME phone!!!!

Battery Seems to be better on my RAZR than it was on my samsung670. I tried 3 different phones before finally deciding to keep the RAZR. The 815 was too big for me, coming from the 670, plus I found the speaker quality to be sub par. I really liked the 8100 for the few days I had it, however the fluctuating ear peace volume was a deal breaker. I also tried the Nokia 6156. Call quality was awesome, but again felt too big, and felt very cheaply made. Plus I new the RAZR would be coming out soon, so decided to wait. The RAZR is great! Reception is Great. Talked on the phone one day for a good 10 minutes with no bars, and it was crystal clear. Size is also great. The phone isn’t perfect. It seems like a lot of people are having some ...

Under normal circumstances, the RAZR battery is fine. I get two solid days or more including use. HOWEVER, be aware that as an EV-DO phone, being in a marginal reception area can eat the battery alive. I have that problem at my house and had to disable the EV capability (a non-trivial exercise discussed in other threads - see my posts.) This would likely apply to any EV-capable phone from Verizon, so it isn't really the RAZR per se. (EV is "Broadband Access" just in case you weren't sure.)

Hey Bristol,
I would like to disable EV-DO also, since I will not use the phone to access the internet. Before I explore the possiblity of getting rid of it, does it stay away when you update the programming using *228 and option 2?
Thanks,
MIF.

Battery Life Sucked!! Key pad was ready to fall off, took 10 seconds to get contacts to appear after pushing the button. Took it back and got a LG 9800 V. I had that phone since the 8th of Dec. and the performance keep going down hill. I also hate that every time i answered the phone i turned the ringer off
