VZ BELT CLIP - UNABLE TO ACCESS USB PORT

Has anyone come across a belt clip that does not block the USB / charging port on the V3c? The one that Verizon sells at its stores is a no go, but strange enough - the one pictured on VZW's website looks like it would work. Any recommendations for belt clips that allow for full functionality while the phone is in the clip? Thanks!

also - Motorola doesn't even offer an OEM at all - at least their website does not.

The do offer an OEM belt clip. It may block it, but why is that such a problem? It's not a big deal to remove it, is it?

do you know where i can find this oem belt clip? ive searched motorola's website, no luck. in regards to your question, yea, while it may be easy to remove the phone from the clip, its annoying to do so. a million times easier to just plug it in w/o having two seperate parts to worry about. thanks!

Yeah, I understand that. They had the OEM belt clip at the Verizon store in my area.

Best Buy has an aftermarket clip that works very well. It comes with two different clips. One for narow belts that swivel and one for larger belts that does not. The privce at our local store was $19.95

one word..... take a dermal tool or similar cutoff tool to it. You only need to remove a little. (Had the same problem with my T720 a few years ago. Only.... it blocked the charging port........ oh... wait.... I forgot the USB is the Charging Port.... so either way it is the same problem!!!!!!) 😲 (I cut a little off the T720 because other wise you had to take the phone out of the holster to charge it.

wabmorgan: thanks for the feedback - since my last post ive actually atempted to take a box cutter w/ razor blade and hack into the verizon holster - but did not get too far and quit. it seems as if the plastic got thicker towards the back of the holster. ive also ordered the one off vzw's website that has a different picture representation than the one obtained from the store (should be here in less than a week). ill let you know if its any different. thanks!
