Motorola RAZR V3c
"Multimedia Studio" fix. Here it is:
Download and install BVRP's Driver Tool: http://www.bvrp.com/Customers/Motorola/Driver Tool.zip Run MPT (then LiveUpdate) and go to: setup/generalsetup/communication, click "change modem" and click next. Choose your modem from the list and click next. Check the "Do not automatically select the driver, select from a list" and click next. You should see "cdma phone" on the left and model #'s on the right. Choose "v3c", click finish> Multimedia Studio should no longer be grayed out. Enjoy... 😁

No, I have version 3.28 If Multimedia Studio worked right off the bat, would I have detailed instructions on how to MAKE it work? Why don't you USE your head instead of giving it?

Okay, someone is touchy feely. Before your asinine comment gets the best of you, I was genuinely asking you a question. The information you posted has been on repeated may times on this forum with the exception of the "CDMA PHONE" and "V3c". I was interested in knowing WHY it is working now, instead of setting the phone as the E815m or V3 via changing the modem phone from the setting.

This is how I got mine to work. Make sure you have MPT 4.0. If you do go from step 2 on. This is a copy of a post by Greyboy, all credit goes to him.

Ok, Im going to give you step by step directions because nobody gave them to me and it bothered me alot
1. Check which version you are running. If you are running anything less than 4.0 then update.
- To find out which version you are using - choose the menu from the picture of the e815m in MPT - then go to help.
- if you are using a version less than 4.0 - go to the menu again, and chose setup, update. run through the update with its default settings
2. Ok, go to the menu again, Setup, General Setup ...

Nice try but it won't work with the lastest revision from Verizon (.03) In fact they now did something to my 710 via *228

Guys this works, thanks. There is also a one word patch for v4.0 that causes the phone to always be detected as V3CM, but I lost it, can anyone help?
