sorry but i'm just getting a little fed up with people complaining over and over about the new standard ui. i love it and think it fits the razr just fine. the razr rocks....great call clarity and reception. it does what a phone is supposed to do...make and recieve calls. and it does it with style. 😁

what he meant to say was, go out and becmoe familiar w/ the software on verizone E815, then switch to the razr and you'll realize how much functionality they took out.

And a cell phone is no longer supposed to "make and recieve calls." They're all inclusive devices meant to do the calls, take pictures, view and send high bandwidth media content, browse the web, soon download and send music, give directions... the list goes on. The days of "plain old phone" are over.

my 7 megapixel camera is way better than any phones camera. can you imagine blowing up a cell camera pic to a 8 by 10? i have an ipod with a 30 gig hard drive. can you fit 7500 songs on your cell phone? i have the new tom tom navigation device in my car. i also use a sony clie palm. throw all that into one device right and you got a bunch of crap in comparison to the real deal. i cant see how having them all seperate is such a huge inconvience. they are all so small and work so great!now, the technology is only halfway there. the razr with the new ui does way more than just an ordinary cell phone and it looks good doing it. 😎

don't be short sighted like that. Sure the razr only has a 1.3mp camera and other phones only have 1gb of removable media. But in 6 monthes to a year cell phones will be equal to any portable media gizmo you'll be able to buy. this is only the begining.

I just want the UI from motorola on the razr. I work with the VZW UI every day side by side w/ the moto ui and the moto ui is just more powerful, end of story.

hey i am not shrt sighted at all i was just trying to make a point. we are all entitled to our own opinions, thats the beauty of this forum. i realize that eventually the technology will be there and man will it be nice. but for now it would be downgrading to go with just one or two devices for all our needs. hopefully this update everyone is talking about will give a little more power to the razr. im keeping my fingers crossed. i still love the phone either way. to each his own i guess. sorry i wasnt trying to get anyone mad at me. 😕

no no, I'm sorry for coming on strong. For me the UI is a fairly big deal, and potential deal breaker. But I'm glad that you like it, and I'm glad and hope that the people who buy one from me like it.

you're right, we're each entitled to our opinions, sorry again.

Hey vzwgenericrep

I want to know why you think the Moto UI is so much more powerful... I work with them everyday as well and i still think the LG UI is great. I've had it since the 7000 and thought that it was awesome. On the LG phones there is no menu delay, not sure why it is that way on the samsung and moto phones when they use the VZW UI. I want to know your opinion on both UI's and I'll give you my opinion.
