Motorola RAZR V3c
Sorry to say it but....... My RAZR went back today too.
I seem to be like numerous others who are bringing the razr back and this is a HUGE dissappointment for me because I have been waiting for this phone for sooo long. There were too many features with both of my razrs that I could not see as upgrading to this. I loved that the OBEX was wide open for it (at least mine was) and the style, but I HAVE to have vib and ring for one and the verizon IU is not for me. Dont get me wrong I am a hugeeeeeee Verizon fan it is just that this is the first time I have had the LG (ie verizon IU) software and too much memory is taken up on stuff I dont use such as get it now and vcast. I hope this phone works out of everyone and I probably will end up with it in a month or two when the new updates come out b...

yeah, I think there are gonna be a lot of people who will be taking this one back. I usually dont get sucked into phones like this...but I guess the "sexiness" of the RAZR just got a hold of me! I guess I'll just have to wait and see what LG is gonna do in 2006 (Hopefully something that doesnt have a blue un-removeable faceplate ie: 8100, 7000)

Mine isn't even being delivered till tomorrow!!!!! I ordered as soon as it came on line!!!!!!!!! That alone is almost enough to make me return it.... but I am leaning toward doing so due to the VZW UI.... I'll give it a try.... but I think it will not be good from what I have read. It could also well end my days as a VZW customer!!!! If I take the phone back, I am canceling my service and going to another carrier. I for one am sick and tired of VZW screwing up the cell phones!!!!(If I keep it, I will be flashing it with an Altell flash!!!!!!!)

I honest agree that the FCC should get in on theses issues its more so to regualate the features.. all phones have to be FCC aproved already so why not at that point come up with a locked feature set that can't be changed my the carrier... this will allow for more inovation from the cell manufactors and the carriers can't disable features
honestly I really feel like carriers are like used car salesman they tell you your getting a porsche and they after ou buy it you look under the hood and there is a 4cycl from a geo metro under the hood... except now they disclose it on the boxes and now some how that makes it right...
