Motorola RAZR V3c has OBEX file transfer

The HoFo members are posting that the V3c has a solid release date now and it has OBEX file transfer.

Verizon's website says that the RAZR does not support OBEX profiles... look on that flash site...

i have a verizon model and it has obex but not opp!! which is phone to phone !!

This is great news, hopefully it is true...but since they are advertising it not to have OBEX, I kind of will have to see it to believe it (in terms of if it will really be like that on the official released version).

anyways, what is 'installing bluetooth' on your computer? Is this a program or software that you download for free and it allows you to transfer files/data? my v710 transflash card adapter is recognized as a seperate drive...is this not as simple?

I was hoping since it had a USB port you just plug it into your computer and it would show up as a seperate drive in windows explorer (like an ipod does for example)

no it doesnt show up like an ipod you have to have drivers for the pc to be able to function properly!! i used the drivers for the e 815 !you can buy a bluetooth dongle and window will pair w the v3c and then you can send files back and forth
