Sony Ericsson Z520 / Z525

I've only had this phone over a year. Is it because I got one of the firsts, and perhaps there's a bug?

Well, both my internal and external screens just went totally blank. My external screen is blue, while my internal is just showing white. I press the menu buttons, and I can still get to my media player and make calls. Everything is working fine, just except the fact that I can't see ANYTHING whatsoever.

I tried rebooting the phone, take the battery out, using a different battery, taking the sim card out, everything!

Did anyone else have this problem?

What happens if my warranty expires? Can I still trade it in if it has internal problems? Can I trade it in for another phone of equal value?
