Text messaging templates?
I don't have the 520 yet, but I'm thinking about it. One feature I've liked about the Motos is that you can create your own "canned" text messages that you can simply pull up and send to anyone at anytime. I do a lot of TMing, and I had an old Ericsson (before the Sony merger) that only had pre-programmed basic message templates. Does the 520 have this option? It's pretty much the only factor that will make the decision for me between it and the Moto 551/557. I like the looks and memory of the SE, but the TM thing is pretty important to me, too. Thanks..

Yes, if you have messages that you send often, you can save these as templates. you can create your own templates. It tells you how on page 40 of the user manual.

When I am composing text messages, I can insert one of my templates into the message. What do I need to do to get the ability to insert a second template into the message?

Press the MENU button. Scroll up to the MESSAGING folder, choose this folder and scroll down to the TEMPLATE feature. Choose the template you wish to use and open it. Edit the template however you choose to and then press the MORE key at the top right. Scroll down to ADD ITEM and choose the TEMPLATE feature. This will allow you to use multiple templates in the same text message.
