Whats up with the round antena?

Hey, if it helps the quad reception I'm all for it. I agree it looks weird when looking at photos of the phone, but it doesn't look as large when seeing the actual phone. I got mine yesterday at a Cingular store and it isn't awkward at all. So far I'm getting better reception than on my Z500.

i agree.

i just won one of these and i have to say that it's not nearly as awkward as the pix make it out to be.

still won't replace my razr so if anyone's interested in a brand new z520a for cingular, email me

hows the sound quality on the z520a? the 6102?

Which phone is smaller? better in your opinion?

the ericsson is a good bit smaller and feels and looks slightly better built.

Nokia sent me the 6102 with a BT adapter (i have no idea what thats worth) and many on HoFo were happy about the adapter, but i saw this as an admission that they should've invluded BT in the phone in the 1st place.

anyway that's something SE got right. The screen on the z520 is nicer than the 6102.

i really haven't used either one of the 2, just to make a test call and to see if their speakerphones are available while ringing, i.e. before the other end picks up (and they are BOTH capable of that)

i will say that when playing around with the SE, i cupped my hand around the loop antenna and the phone dropped like all signal strength - then again i just ...
