Does the mic still suck?
hi just wondering if anyone knows if sony has improved on the mic picking up backround noise. I love sony phones i had a 68, 616 and now a 637 but all of those phones had a tendancy to transmit everything that goes around me. If there is someone standing in line behind me talkin its as if he was talkin on my phone, atleast thats what it sounds like to people on the other end. I know motorola is really good with their mics and im wondering if sony started adding any noise filters into their phone? anyone know?

As far as I can tell, the mic doesn't pick up excess noise, at least I had nobody said to me that they could hear excess stuff going on in the background. I had a SE T637 and I know what you mean, I've had people ask what that noise was and I didn't even hear it, it was crazy how sensitive the mic was. Anyway, the mic on the Z520 does a good job of making sure your voice and maybe just a hint of background noise is transmitted and not like the open mic night of the T637.
