Sony Ericsson W600i / W550i
impressed with the new SE line
Im a cingular rep based out of WI and the Sony Ericsson rep was recently in our store with the 520 the w600 and thier newest bluetooth headset both this phone and the 520 are solid i had a chance to play around with both phones they fixed the bad mic position that was on the 710 it sounds great with mp3s (better than my s710a) and it comes with 2 faces so those of you who dont quite like the orange it also comes with blue i believe (remember the motorola v120 peanut same thing lol). he was telling me that what SE is doing is trying to finally embrace the SONY side of the name because lets face it Ericsson has never been the best company. need i mention the 62u? also the new 520 is a lot smaller than the z500 a lot more solid with blinking co...

all the s710a owners... yall know how with your 710 you can control windows media player and your desktop, this will do it too but it will also be able to control your TV and other media devices with TV attachment.. i dont get it but we will have to see

I have played with the SE W600 and what I understand it will be compatible with iTunes. Lot more memory then s710. Its going to be priced same as s710. the s710 will cease to exist after q4. The W600 best part is that it will be quad band. I also believe it will have class10 edge. Its going to be one hot item.

The SE guy stated that when you start up iTunes it will recognize the w600. I hope what he states is true????

🙂 🙂 Thank you there is a god. I had a major issue with the software on my S710 and trying to download MP3's to it. My computer would shut down. I hope they fixed that. I am really looking foward to getting this phone, and the new PTT we have coming out. Cingular is going to be the company to be with soon. UMTS, PTT, and SE what a lethal combination. 😈
