I'm curious about the chinese input. Since 550 (or one versio of it, by my understanding) is headed for ROC, I'm guessing its simplified chinese?

Any chance that can be changed to traditional? And how do chinese people type into their phones? (I still dont even know how they type on the computer)

(note: My parents came from Taiwan, so I'm trying to keep up with my chinese)

well, thanks to everyone who responded

I'll answer my own question here. I got my w550i yesterday, and having played around with some of the language stuff. It seems they use pinyin and then select the actual word from a list.

For those of you who might want to know..

anyone have any idea what upgrade or firmware would allow me to both input traditional chinese and have all the text in traditional? I know it can show it, becuase I transferred two wong faye songs that were both in traditional, and they showed that way.
