seems to have some great specs but an expansion card would have helped this phone alot. I did have a chance to look at the phone first hand at a vendor event not realy all that impressive once its in you hands either.

Depends on what teh w600 is priced at first, if its way cheaper than the s710 then go for it. but the s710 has all teh same features except for FM radio and you can get is fr around $199 now.

If my understanding is correct the memory stick duo that the S710a uses will never expand beyond 128 mb.

That said, this phone has all the same important features (fm radio is silly to me), and possibly more memory. I don't like to carry multiple cards with me.

So, if it's price that concerns you, the s710a is a good phone at a good price. I think the W600 is better, but if it debuts at the same price as the s710a when it was released...

Lets just call me cheap, S710a is a much better buy.

This phone will probably debut at $399.99 with a $100 Mail-In Rebate. I will be receiving one of these fine phones with my current participation in the Five Bar SE contest that is currently going on. Any Cingular Agent can join. The contest ends Oct. 14.
