can't zoom in??? (urgent)

Hey guys...sorry to sound like a newbie at this phone stuff...but, I just got a camera phone (samsung Sch-a850) and I was wondering how to zoom? I started the camera up and pressed right and left...but, no zoom. Pressing up and down changed my contrast but I can't get my zoom to work. Any help...please.

Try changing the resolution from the highest and see what happens.

had the same problem and lowereing the resolution allows you to zoom
