DUN Support

Anyone know if this supports the Dial-Up Networking Bluetooth profile?

No bluetooth DUN but they give you a USB for that

Unless this BB is different than other BB's, DUN support doesn't exist at all, cable or otherwise. Verizon has a $59.99 plan for that and doesn't want you using the BB plan to do it for less. I think this limitation applies to all the EV-DO phones. You may be able to find a hack for a Moto phone (I don't know of one for Windows Mobile of BB OS), but Verizon can cut you off if they detect a transmission pattern that suggests you have a PC. I don't know how effectively they can do that, but it is at least possible.

Bristol, you really need to read up on the phone before you post.Even on the Verizon web site it says that you can tether this 7130e to a PC to access EVDO DUN.I even have the CD tha...

The fee to hook up DUN is a $15.00 charge on top of your data plan.so you need the Blackberry $44.99 plan and it will be $15 more if you want DUN

My bad, that is correct. But if you do the math it comes out to $59.99 😁

The pricing is pretty unattractive it appears. I will figure it out when I go to a Verizon store on the first. I already have an EV-DO card and pay $59.99 for unlimited access.
