Hi guys, I am on the market for a blackberry. I would like to know which of the two are better.

7130e
7250

I wanted to know how the reception, speed, performance Is. Are they worth it?

Thank you

I have never used a 7250, but use my 7130e several times a day. The Suretype works great, especially after you use it for a month or so and it learns your writing style. I can type rather quickly on my 7130. I never could stand using my old V710 to send a text messege using the tap method, Suretype is nothing like this at all.

Reception on a 7130 is what you expect form VZW, I have yet to find myself in a area without service, except for those deep mountain pockets in the poconoes.

The speed of the 7130 seems ok to me, but then again I have nothing to compare it to.

Performance in my opinion is great, I love mine and can not imagine going back to a normal phone.

The 7250 isn't bad for typing, but the 7130e is really easy as well. It's just a matter of getting used to it and allowing the device time to learn new words. Takes about a week for you to get a good vocab. The 7250 was terrible for dialing because of the size of the buttons. I carry a new phone everytime one is released because I sell them for Alltel. The 7130e is great, especially since they dropped the price to $200 now.
