Hi. I was reviewing this site and I'm thrilled about the Samsung a940, I have the Sanyo 8300 & I want a new phone. I would like to purchase this phone but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Any suggestions as to where I can purchase it?

Hi my name is Nik,and I am a Sales Supervisor for a wireless company. Sprint discontinued the phone about 2 months ago because it wasn't a big seller, but Verizon offers the A940 for $99.99 I believe. You wouldn't be able to receive Power Vision, but Verizon has VCAST, which is decent. If you have any more questions you can write back. Thanks

Hi, Nik. Thanks for responding. However, after reading several reviews about this phone, I decided I want to go with the a900. Would you have to know where I can purchase this phone, whithout a plan (Sprint Customer) for a not-so-expensive price?

The best place would probably be EBay. The A900 is a good choice of phone. However, I have heard of from a few different customers that the battery life is not the best, and it can freeze up from time to time. Might I recommend a few different Sprint phones. The first is the A920, which basically has all of the features as the A900 but it is not quite as thin, and the battery life is a little better. If you are into having the phone as an MP3 player, you should go with the LG Fusic. Again, not quite as thin as the A900, but it has removable memory on it. This is going to allow you to hold more music on your phone, as well as being able to instantly transfer photos from your phone to your computer via USB. Good luck with your decision...

I looked on ebay for you, there is a couple on there that are for the Sprint network but they aren't brand new.
