Check the format the music is saved in. If it's saved in WMA the phone won't be able to read the song, and it won't even appear as though it's on the card.

MP3 and AAC are the two most common that it'll work with. If you are trying to put music on there that you've ripped with Windows Media Player, chances are that it's in WMA format. You can change the format WMP rips in through the properties.

problem but an easy solution. right. you need a card reader. you can find them at just about any electronics store. then plug that into your pc. then from your music file folder send to the MEDIA folder on that storage device (card). i've seen that WMA doesn't work on the phone. MP3 so far. haven't tried AAC. really easy once you figure it out. ps. i found a stereo adapter on ebay. so you could, if you wanted to, plug your phone into your home stereo. oh! music store files are on the card. so if you switch cards you won't be able to access them unless you move them to new card. GOOD LUCK!

I've had the same problem. Transfer an mp3 file to the phone over bluetooth, but then can't find it anywhere via any of the phone menus. Has anyone figured how to access the mp3 files once transferred to the phone ?

Go to Tools- File Manager-Bluetooth....

I doubt it will work since Samsungs Bluetooth is messed up and they are soo restricted. Only Songs with some digital thing which tells the phone if thats the original song and not a pirated songs, but even the digital copy protected songs don't work. Mp3s won't play, if samsung said that then they lied.

yes you can, you gonna need a card reader with USB connection, just connected to the PC and download as many as you want, but put in mind the format that the phone support.

www.sprintusers.com/focus

This web site will work wonders for you, if you know how to convert to AAC already, all you have to do it browse for your AAC file and upload it and send it to your phone.

You'll receive a text and just download the file, sounds great.. 😁
