A840 @ RadioShack
We at RadioShack are scheduled to get this phone in this week on our current order. My store appears to be getting 2 in. The phone will retail for $79.99 ($229.99 unactivated). It doesnt look like anything big and special. Well at least not to me, as i have a silver vm4500/scp-5500 and am currently looking at a mm-5600, 🙂 audiovox ppc-6600, or mm-a700 to tide me over until the 😁 mm-9000 or 😁 mm-7500 phones come out in late sept - early october.

Sprint has had this phone for a few weeks already, it just recently went on display.
I'm not sure why it is priced at $79.99 with activation when the a740 is the same price but has a color external screen (is it really worth it to trade the color external screen for a semi-adequate speaker phone?)
Also, can anybody tell us what the "Innovative wireless postcards feature" is and/or what it does. (This is what the display at the store says on it. Nobody at the store knows what that means.) This will be posted on another thread, so direct replies there.
