Sanyo MM-8300 or Samsung MM-A880?

I am going to get one of these two phones. Any suggestion which is better? I like the MM-8300 30 sec video, ready link, and lighter weight. I like the A880's 256k color (compared to 65k) , video screen saver, and Pictbridge capablites.
Does anyone know what the difference is between a VGA digital camera and a megapixel digital camera is? Any other pros and cons?

vga means 640 X 480 resolution, the usual resolution for a picture from a camera phone...it usually equates to a (blurry) 5 X 7 in. printout, and since it is digital, the smaller the printout (at the same resolution), the higher the dpi, which means a clearer photo

1.3 megapixel, for most people, is the (minimum) requirement for a (clear) 8 X 10 in. printout, although most high-end camera-phones (nowadays) have a 1.0 magapixel camera, which is what i believe the 880 has...(the spec sheet on the 880 here on phonescoop shows a camera resolution of "1+ megapixel", which probably means it (truly) has a 1.03 megapixel camera, which will give you a slightly pixelated (blocky) 8 X 10 in. printout

IMO, other than possible difference in price, ...

couple other things to consider. I don't know if you've seen the 880 in person, but the color scheme makes it rather feminine looking. Its a very slick design and I like the look of it, just not the lavender-ish color. Of the course the 8300 has the changeable faceplates. Also maybe its just me, but looking at the two phones, I cant tell a difference in screen color/quality. In fact the 8300 looks slightly higher resolution to me - more like the 7400 screen, just smaller. I would pick the 8300 just for the speakerphone and for the likely better reception. This being the first or second sprint samsung phone w/internal antenna, who knows how the reception will be. And a 1.03 MP cameraphone camera is still not going to look nearly as good as a...

Please, go with the 8300. I played with both the phones before they came out, and as the other guy said, the a880 is VERY feminine-looking. I'm a female, and thought about how "pretty" the phone is. Honestly, the 8300 is a much more versatile and reliable phone to have. I just quit working for lockline, sprint's insurance carrier, and believe it or not, the a880's weren't getting that great of reviews. The phone is not durable at all, I know because I dropped the one I was playing with one time and screwed it up. It is packed with very nice visual features, (ie: camera, camcorder, media player, etc.) But if you aren't a real photographer, who really takes camera phones' pics seriously? I mean, the pictbridge printer doesn't come with it, nei...
