Camera->transflash->PC?

I am thinking about getting one, but want to check a couple of assumptions first. Any answers from a current owner would be greatly appreciated.

1) Can I set an option to cause all new pictures + video to be stored on the transflash card instead of internal memory?

2) Can I put the transflash card into my PC and easily copy images + video to my hard drive? Assuming I have an TF->SD card adapter and SD reader.

3) Can I copy images + video from internal memory to transflash for later dump to PC?

Thanks!

1) You can not have it automatically go to the card, but after taking a pic or video, you can choose the option to move it to the card.

2) Yes.

3) Same as question #1.

Ok, if you don't have this phone don't give erroneous information Mary424. This phone is not the 8100.

Here's the real answer.

YES to all three.

Screw you, wintersky95!! I've been on PhoneScoop for a long time and have helped A LOT of people out! I have messed with this phone extensively enough to answer questions and offer suggestions/help and most of it's features are identical to the 8100. Don't be an ass!

Giving out false information doesn't "help" people considering buying this phone. If you aren't sure about something you shouldn't give your guess as an absolute answer. It isn't the same as the 8100 and you should stop assuming that every feature is the exact same.

Actually you can change the settings on the 8100 to save directly to the card instead of internal memory...so I am not quite sure she replied the way she did because she assumed it was the same as the 8100. And...you could be a little nicer. It is just as easy to say "That was incorrect..." instead of being an @ss about it.

True, but i kinda get tired of correcting some of the same people quite frequently. There's just a lot of people on here who although have good intentions, don't exactly know what they're talking about. The simple rule is if you aren't 100% sure of an answer don't assume and state it as fact anyway. A lot of people make their decision on a phone based on info they find in here so it's good to keep it as accurate as possible.

I know this thread is pretty old but there seems to be mixed opinions about the answer to #1. The answer is yes. To automatically save new pics and videos to your memory card, s...
