V325 locks up maybe due to using navigator
My wife and I purchased two v325's from Costco. I use and really like VZ Navigator, my wife does not use it.
My first phone began "locking up" could not receive a call and when trying to make a call did not work, eventually giving a message "call failed"
So exchanged the 1st phone for a second. After a week, started having the same problem with phone locking up.
Exchanged for a 3rd v325 which I have been using and again it locks up 1-2 times a week. I am able to get it to work, but have to take the battery out and put back in, which is getting old.
In meantime, my wife has never had a problem with her original phone, but she does not use VZ Navigator.
Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

First check which software version you have. Go into menu > Settings & Tools > System or Device Info > S/W Version. If it says .08 or .09 or .09P at the end of the software version, you have old software, and really should take it to a Verizon store and have them load the new software. The new software ends in 1CP I believe and can be upgraded for free at a Verizon store. The new software is faster and doesn't freeze nearly as much.

I went by a Verizon Store and the tech support person there said the version I have on my phone (ending in .09P) is the latest they have. I guess I can keep checking back to see if they get the new version ending in 1CP. While I was at the Verizon store, I did exchange my phone for another V325. The next day it locked up! Thanks for your reply about the new software ... any other thoughts or suggestions?
