Everytime I'm at the Verizon store, there are lines of people complaining of problems with the A850. Fortunately, it's on the verge of being discontinued, hence why it's free.

The V325 however gets superior reception, has better call quality, a much better speakerphone, larger screen/larger fonts, and the high ratings and excellent reviews speak for themselves. The V325 also uses a mini-USB charging port which allows the phone to charge from a computer's USB port using a cable that comes with many digital cameras (you may already have one). It's a great phone and I highly recommend it.

I would highly recommend the Moto V325. I did alot of research before I got a new phone and sifted through countless forum posts. I have had LG phones and am not a big fan. I most recently had a Samsung a670 and it was not so hot either...it got me through one year. I opted to get the Moto v325 and I have not been disappointed since. If you do not need all the bells and whistles type stuff on a phone, such as, V cast and bluetooth then this is a phenominal phone. The reception is excellent, the call quality is excellent and it even has a great speakerphone. Alot of Verizon fans dog the Motos and hype the LGs but I am a Moto fan! Hope it helps.

Thanks for your advice! After reading reviews, etc both my daughter and I decided to go with the Motorola; however, when we went to order it online we discovered the price went up $40 overnight! We'll wait another week and see if they go down. Thanks again

I have 2 suggestions. Best Buy offers the V325 for FREE with new activation until 7/31 according to the website. So suggestion 1 is buy it there. Suggestion 2 is see if Verizon will price match over the phone or at a Circuit City/Verizon location.

Thanks again for your help.....unfortunately, Best Buy is sold out and Verizon by phone would not give courtesy price! I'll wait it out! Grr!
