(I'm on my third Moto v325)
This phone works the way it should with "no" problems". Not one freeze not one call that didn't ring through and "no" dropped calls. Volume in the ear piece is good and much better than the other two phones I had.
Blue Ringing Light's always there. I can't tell you about the sync with outlook as I bought it as a phone that would make and receive calls. If it doesn't change It's spots anytime soon I will say this is what I wanted
when I bought it. I have to thank someone on the HF for saying that if your phone isn't right bring it back and get another one, he was so right. The phone looks good sounds good makes calls well, what more could you want from a "Phone" remember it is a phone first.
Hope this will he...

The first one would not ring when a call came
in. Would also not shut off (Freeze) would have
to remove the battery to shut it down. Second
one had volume problems. I picked up number three on the 10 of Feb. it has not had one problem. Rings all the time, no dropped calls
very good RF sound the best so far. If this stays this way it is a great phone. Good looking good sound and good RF. No problems.
There are very good Motorola V325 phones you
just have to get one. This also has the 08
firmware. I hope this answers your questions.

Is it a safe bet if I buy one in a Verizon store or by calling 611 I will get one w/ up to date firmware? I would hope that the ones that are being sold now have the bugs worked out. Also, how do you check the firmware? Thanks

The firmware is listed in the battery compartment,
on the phone it's
System Settings
System
Device Info
Other Info
S/W Version
I don't think the problem is in the software
I believe it's the phone. Made in China.
Buy the phone in a Verizon store as they quick
to change your phone. The problems that there
complaining about is with both the 08 / 09
firmware. That's why I think it's the phone.
The one I have now is a gem works great.
If you want a phone with not many bells this is it. I'm very happy now.

Always good to know your not the only one. My wife and I just picked up these phones and are having problems with charging, freezing up, and calls not ringing through, despite good signal. Guess we'll try another pair and hope for the best. Thanks for your post.
