iTAP - adding new words

The manual for the v325 states that iTAP will add a new word to the phone's memory if it doesn't recognize it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to do that?

I have attempted to add the new word by spelling the word in "Abc" mode, then switching back to iTAP mode with no success.

Thanks!

if it's anything like on other Motorola phones, what you do is spell it using iTap...just scroll over to the right to select the letters you want, and then, after that, it'll be able to type that word with iTap next time...for a set number of words...then it starts losing old ones if you don't use them often enough.
